SEC to host annual "Government-Business Forum on Small Capital Formation" and webcast

The SEC is hosting its annual Small Business Capital Formation Forum on November 20, 2014, which will focus on the capital formation concerns of small businesses. A major purpose of the Forum is to provide a platform to highlight perceived unnecessary impediments to small business capital formation and address whether they can be eliminated or reduced. Each forum seeks to develop recommendations for government and private action to improve the environment for small business capital formation, consistent with other public policy goals, including investor protection. The public is also invited to suggest topics for discussion, please contact us if you would like assistance preparing a suggested topic for submission to the SEC. For details on the event and submitting topics, see the SEC website
